Each month in 2021, Better Car People spotlights one dealership and a local charity of their choice through our new Gratitude Campaign. Better Car People donates $1,000 to the charity in the name of the dealership in the hopes of helping the local community and spreading the word about the specific charity.

What is Every Kid Counts?
Founded in 1994, Every Kid Counts has worked within the community to provide children with academic, athletic, and community resources and experiences to help enrich their lives and give them opportunities to grow and learn.
Their programs include:
- Books to Bikes
- Character Counts
- Stuff the Pack
- Athletic Programs including baseball and Bass Fishing
- Philanthropic Programs
“This organization is about helping our nation’s youth achieve a better way of life free from the abuses of drugs and alcohol and the violence that ravages our communities as well as to prevent the spread of illiteracy and the breakdown in family values” according to EKC’s mission statement. And with partners like Van Chevrolet Buick GMC, they will have additional funding to help make their initiatives possible.
